It was 1949 when Walter “Peanut” Williams sold his first Allis-Chalmers tractor. Since that time, Williams’ Farm Machinery has continued to grow and serve Eaton County and Central Michigan for over 60 years. It is with the same pride that Walter had with his first sale that continues in our dealership today. We have seen many changes over the years. We have seen equipment companies change hands and names. Allis-Chalmers to Deutz-Allis to AGCO. New Holland to Ford-New Holland, back to New Holland just to name a few.

Even though our dealership was built on the roots of agriculture, we recognized the need to expand our product lines to carry us into 2000 and beyond. A fully staffed Lawn and Garden service department was established to serve the communities growing residential repair and maintenance needs. While maintaining our strong presence in agriculture, we have become a primary source of sales and service to the residential and commercial markets in Eaton County.
